Sound Healing

Most offerings from the landscape of complementary medicine have ancient and widely spread roots and sound healing is no exception.

From Tibetan monks, through Shamanic practices, Greek and Egyptian mythology - ancient scriptures hailed the power of sound healing and its ability to soothe and heal on a profound level.

Sound healing has recently gained enormous popularity in the world of wellness as a result of studies conducted on its therapeutic value and people searching for alternatives to modern medicine.

There are many different tools and instruments used for sound healing, Emma uses singing bowls made from Nepalese quartz crystal. When played they emit beautiful sound frequencies that work on a cellular level to reduce anxiety, stress and pain, the tones and sound waves can penetrate deeply into the conscious and subconscious mind.

Used in meditation, group classes or 1-2-1, the bowls will envelop you into a deep and blissful place of calm and relaxation.

“I recently went to Emma at Spirit+Soul Wellness for a sports massage to address a nagging injury I had developed while training for a half marathon. Her deep tissue massage techniques were just what I needed to break up scar tissue and relieve the muscle tension that was causing my pain. After just one session with Emma, I noticed a significant improvement in my pain level and overall mobility.”
